Avalon Peninsula

Picture
Upper Island Cove Rocks II 38"x46" (sold)
In August 2015, our painting group of six visited the Avalon Peninsula.  We had painted on a trip to the west side of the province when on a trip to Gros Morne in 2009. We found the Avalon side equally interesting with its numerous fishing villages perched along or tucked into the craggy coastline. We painted at Salmon Cove, Heart’s Delight, Upper Island Cove, Bare Need, Brigus and Green’s Harbour.
