Minden Hills & Haliburton

Picture
Winter Sky, Minden 17.5"x11.5"
On painting trips to the Minden area in January, with temperatures as low as -22 degrees F, we have discovered that it is possible to paint outside with the right equipment and hand and toe warmers tucked into mitts and boots. Fortunately dry pastel, my preferred medium for painting on site, is not affected by the freezing cold.
